How It Works
From your first visit to our office to your first pay cheque in Belarus — here is exactly what to expect, with no surprises.
1. Free first meeting at our office
We walk you through available jobs, salaries, timelines and costs in detail — there is no obligation until you decide to sign.
2. Sign the contract, deposit to escrow
If you agree, you sign a contract with TenGo and deposit the agreed amount (in Ethiopian birr) into a joint escrow account. This money only moves to TenGo once your visa is approved in Nairobi — if it is not, you get a full refund.
3. Prepare for your embassy interview
Together with TenGo, you gather: your visa application, a 35×45 photo, a copy of obligatory health insurance, confirmation of your professional qualification, a medical certificate, a police clearance, your original passport, and 120 EUR in cash for the visa fee. TenGo also helps you practice explaining your job and background in English for the consul.
4. Interview in Nairobi
You travel to the Belarusian embassy in Nairobi for your visa interview. If approved, your contract payment is released to TenGo and you return to Ethiopia to prepare for departure. If not approved, your payment is fully refunded.
5. Fly to Belarus
TenGo books your round-trip flight. Carry at least 1000 USD in cash — Belarusian border control may ask to see it.
6. Arrival and medical check
Orvietto meets you at Minsk airport and takes you to temporary housing while you complete a medical check (results take about 7 days). Related costs — passport translation, medical check, annual insurance and hostel stay — are paid locally in Belarusian rubles.
7. Move in and start work
Once cleared, you move to employer-provided housing, sign your employment contract, and Orvietto prepares your documents for annual work registration with the authorities.
8. Work and settle in
You start working while your annual work visa is finalised (about 10 days). From here, you are settled — and you can always check your status in your personal account.
